Dan Martin, LCSW, CADC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He received his MSW from Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC. Dan has 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Dan’s expertise includes bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, borderline personality issues, depression, anxiety/panic attacks, ADHD, and substance abuse recovery. He uses proven therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy  (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Dan is positive and supportive, and he helps his clients gain the insight, hope, and courage to make real changes. His style is holistic and interactive, collaborating with his clients to help them realize their potential and develop the skills to move towards more fulfilling lives.

Dan works at Algonquin, Barrington, and McHenry offices.

Dan sees client’s in person and offers remote sessions by telephone to established clients.
