Scott Campbell, ACSW, LCSW
J. Scott Campbell, ACSW, LCSW, Clinical Director has over 40 years experience in the planning, development and implementation of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Scott is a skilled, veteran mental health administrator and supervisor who served as Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer for a large community mental health center in McHenry County for 39 years. He has directed a number of counseling programs throughout his career. Scott is committed to the provision of Service Excellence through our dedicated team of licensed, experienced professionals focusing on providing “Hope, Help and Healing” to all who seek our services.
Jeanne Hanson, Executive Director
Rev. Jeanne Hanson, M.Div, ordained UCC pastor. Jeanne earned a B.A. at University of Illinois and a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary, and served nearly 10 years in parish ministry. Jeanne provides pastoral care, spiritual direction and clergy care. She is a member of the Barrington Area Ministerial Association, on the board of H.E.R.E. in Barrington, and the Sesquicentennial Committee. She is a 28 year resident of Barrington and has two married daughters. Exec@sccnw.org
De. Melissa Katz
Clinical Director
Dr. Melissa Katz, Clinical Director, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides individual and family services to children, adolescents and adults. She received her masters and doctorate in clinical psychology with a child and adolescent specialization from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Melissa's pediatric experiences include Mt. Sinai Children’s Hospital, Riveredge Hospital, and Advocate Illinois Masonic Pediatric Developmental Center. Her areas of specialization focus on children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and ASD; behavioral disorders; early childhood intervention; pediatric anxiety and mood disorders; and adults with OCD and anxiety. Melissa combines evidence-based treatment with systemic and dynamic approaches that focus on the unique needs and strengths of every child and family. In addition to clinical work, Melissa also plays an active role in clinical training and community based interventions. She has developed several training programs for graduate students in psychology and was an adjunct faculty member at the doctoral level. Melissa serves on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) in McHenry County and is the preschool coordinator for Moms of McHenry County. Christine had previously worked with many of our Samaritan staff members at Family Services in McHenry for over six years and is excited to be working in Behavioral Health arena again. More recently, Christine worked at Comprehensive Urologic Care in Barrington as their Office Manager. She was also a board member of the Northern Illinois Medical Managers group. Christine has lived and worked in the McHenry County area most her life. She currently resides in Crystal Lake with her husband and two grown sons.
