Justin Noe is a Counselor-in-training currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling from Northwestern University through The Family Institute. Justin attained his undergraduate degrees from Northern Illinois University in Psychology and Philosophy - with an emphasis in Applied Ethics studies. Justin is a former enlisted member of the United States Navy, where he accumulated 5 years of experience as a mental health professional. This practical experience includes time spent in a number of different roles as a Behavioral Health Technician at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia. At NMCP, Justin was a shift supervisor on an Acute Crisis Intervention unit, co-facilitated group-based psychoeducational/supportive therapy in the Traumatic and Operational Stress Services clinic, and co-facilitated individual and group psychodynamic therapies in the Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program.
Justin’s professional experience incorporated services to a variety of diverse adolescent and adult clients, in background as well as presenting issues. His clinical theory background includes orientation in both Cognitive Behavioral modalities and Psychodynamic modalities. Justin is committed to serving client needs by promoting insight, solution-focused goal development, and emotional processing.
