Our Clinicians
All clinicians at the Samaritan Counseling Center of the Northwest Suburbs are licensed by the State of Illinois and/or certified by a professional organization. They represent a variety of professional backgrounds, including: clinical psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and pastoral counselors.
All clinicians have at least one master’s degree as well as a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Wait List; Psychologist, Clinical Director, specializes in children, adolescents and their families, addressing anxiety, ADHD, trauma, giftedness. Trained in CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. X 325

Not accepting new clients; Provides individual and family services for adolescents, young adults, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and loss, identity development, LGBTQIA issues, interpersonal relationships, and helping children and adolescents who may be at a higher risk of using maladaptive coping strategies to deal with stressors. Not accepting new clients; Specializes in working with adolescents and their families, and adults on substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management, and coping with stress. Fluent in French. X 318

Addiction specialist. Works with individuals and couples dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, and coping with life transitions. Specializes in Gottman Method of couples therapy. X 321
Not accepting new clients; Supportive and interactive style. Specializes in mood disorders, chronic mental illness, family/relationship issues, geriatric issues, and substance abuse recovery. X 328
Wait List; Primarily uses a method of therapy known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Rachel offers therapy for adolescents and adults in individual, family, and group settings. X 324
Works with couples, adolescents, and adults. Focus is relationships, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, loss, and caregiving. Holistic and strengths-based; CBT, DBT, QPR. X 320
